Austin previously operated his own successful financial services business in the City of London and has nearly 10 years experience in the financial services sector. Austin holds the advanced financial planning qualification and was a top performing MBA student, attaining the 'MBA Prize' from his School of Management. He has regularly appeared on BBC radio and television to provide an expert opinion on financial services-related issues.
Austin chairs the Pro-Manchester membership committee, a large professional services membership organisation and also chairs the corporate steering group for the 5 Stars Appeal, a Manchester Children's Hospital fundraising charity. He is a DIY fanatic who enjoys a challenge, as well as an evening with friends - or his pet ducks!
